Dolce&Gabbana’s haute couture grand tour
From July 7 to 11, several places on the Murgia plateau will serve as the backdrop for Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana’s creations in dialogue with the valuable local manufacturing and artistic heritage and the most authentic folk tradition.
Precisely, on July 9 the event will be vertical on the ‘Haute Sartoria Maschile’ of the two Sicilian designers . As in previous events, the fashion shows will have a reference to the host location and it will be interesting to know the connection with the famous trulli of Alberobello: a Unesco site in Apulia thanks to its typical limestone conical dwellings. Tourist site that does not single out Puglia alone, but, Italy itself in the World.
On July 10, the same Tour will move to another typical town in Puglia: Ostuni. The “White City”; is famous for its millennial History and an Architecture that has had both Western and Eastern influences.
The Grand Tour of italy is a project of Dolce&Gabbana, inaugurated in 2012 in Sicily with the presentation of the first Haute Couture collection in Taormina, aims to bring to light the spirit of “made in Italy”: great Craftsmanship, values linked to quality, maximum exploitation of resources with the human element at the center.
So, rendezvous on July 9, 2023 in Alberobello, where the World will land in the reality of Dry Stone Architecture and the largest textile works on the Market.
